“Over the past 30 years, baseball has taught me more than wins and losses and strike-balls and hits. It has taught me life and made me who is writing this letter,” he said of his intention to retire.

Lindblom, who started his professional career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2008, transferred to Lotte in 2015 and embroidered the KBO League stage for a total of five seasons, including Doosan days (2018, 2019). In particular, in 2019, he was selected as the KBO League MVP along with the team’s championship with an excellent record of 20 wins and 3 losses with an earned run average of 2.50.

Eventually, Lindblom announced his retirement after his contract with Milwaukee was terminated after the 2022 season. Lindblom said, “I want to thank everyone who has influenced the game of baseball I love. Whether it’s my family, friends, teammates, coaches, front desk, food and beverage salesmen, groundskeepers, journalists, fans or kids, this letter is for you. After saying, “(As a baseball player), I may have done everything, but I am not finished yet.”
