The Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) revises the regulations related to the recent increase in video reading mistakes.
The federation held an emergency countermeasure meeting on the 9th about controversies related to consecutive video readings, such as the recent KB Insurance net touch, KGC Ginseng Corporation’s transmission of five scenes, and Hyundai Capital’s four-hit related reading corrections.

In the future, we plan to conduct a more careful reading process by using multi-angle reading screens when reading videos. The federation said, “If the game/judge finds a clear error immediately after the announcement of the video review result, the guide has been set as one that can be corrected through a reconfirmation procedure limited to the screen(s) already provided immediately.”
The federation said, “We plan to make every effort to make an accurate judgment by taking this case as a lesson, and we will do our best to prevent recurrence by thoroughly educating the game/judges and referees so that the operation of video reading can be operated more smoothly.
