Heo and Choi are seniors at Yonsei University. They played together in college, and although they played for different teams in the pros, they always supported each other and maintained a good relationship. They also played together in the national team and led the way in the national defense.
Heo joined KCC as a free agent last year after playing for Wonju DB, while Choi Jun-yong played exclusively for Seoul SK after his debut and switched teams for the first time to wear a KCC jersey. This is the first time the two players have played for the same team in the pros.
