Ghana striker Christian Arts (Hataispor), who disappeared after the earthquake in Turkiye, has been confirmed to be alive.
According to a report by Ghanaian journalist Sadie Adams on the 7th (Korean time), Artz was rescued from the ninth floor of a building that was damaged by the earthquake along with nine of his colleagues and was taken to the hospital. He is now receiving treatment and is said to be focusing on his recovery.

A large earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occurred in southeastern Turkey and Syria on the morning of the 6th. A native of Ghana, Arts made his professional debut at Portugal’s prestigious FC Porto in 2011 before moving to Chelsea in 2013. In 2021, he moved his opponent to the stage of Turkiye via Al Raed in Saudi Arabia in 2021.
