Kim Hae-Sung recovers, multi-hits for second straight game

Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Ha-Sung Kim, 27, of the San Diego Padres, is getting his bat back with a multi-hit game.

Kim’s team, the San Diego Padres, fell to 4-5 on the day after giving up a game-tying two-run homer to St. Louis outfielder Tommy Hyun-Soo Edmon in the ninth inning. It was San Diego’s second straight game-ending loss to St. Louis.

The Padres fell to 62-72 (.463 winning percentage) and further out of contention for the National League wild card. The Padres are in seventh place in the National League wild card standings, with up to three spots available.
