Korea Football Association delayed disciplinary action against Gimpo FC for ‘death of youth player bullying’

The Korea Football Association postponed the disciplinary action of Gimpo FC to next week.

The Korea Football Association held a fair committee meeting at the Seoul Soccer Center on the 2nd, but could not come to a conclusion about the case in which a youth player of Gimpo FC made an extreme choice after failing to endure bullying within the team in April of last year. The association decided to call another meeting on the 9th.메이저놀이터

According to a <Yonhap News> report, an official from the Korea Football Association explained the reason for the postponement of the decision, saying, “We had four leaders involved in the case attend the fair committee to hear their opinions, but no consensus was reached among the fair committee members.”

On April 5, the Gimpo Police Station sent one coach and two coaches of the Gimpo FC youth team and one coach of the TMG FC youth team to the Bucheon Branch of the Incheon District Prosecutor’s Office on charges of violating the Child Welfare Act. He is accused of participating in bullying of youth players. Gimpo FC dismissed one manager and two coaches involved in the incident, and the CEO took responsibility and resigned.
