In the top of the eighth, Ryu Ji-hyuk led off with a single, Lee Jae-hyun followed with a sacrifice bunt and Kim Jae-sung walked to put runners on first and second before Kim Dong-jin drove in the winning run with a single to left field.

KIA put runners on second and third in the bottom of the ninth as Choi Won-jun singled to left and Kim Do-young doubled to centre. Na Sung-beom grounded out to first base, allowing Choi Won-joon to score to preserve the win.
