Scotty Scheffler (USA) returned to the top spot after pushing Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who was number one in the men’s golf world rankings, to second place.
In the men’s golf world rankings announced on the 13th, Schaeffler rose to No. 1 from last week’s No. 2.
Schaeffler won the PGA Tour WM Phoenix Open held in Scottsdale, Arizona on the same day, pushing Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who was first, to second place.
It is the first time in four months since October last year that Schaeffler became the world’s No. 1 in men’s golf.
Ram, who took third place alone in this tournament, did not change his world ranking (third place).

A member of the Saudi Arabia-funded LIV Series, Garcia had been in the top 50 before moving to the LIV Series last year, before dropping to 131st.
